Class Description

Spy Kids Cryptology and Mad Scientists (1-3) Are you ready for adventure, secrets, and mystery? Come learn some secret spy codes! We will uncover historical codes and use them to create spy messages others will need to crack! In science, we'll engage in various science experiments and activities, make a mess while testing solutions, ideas, and concepts that challenge our thinking and result in constructed products. Some of our favorite activities include; making slime (regular or edible), ice cream, testing bacteria, extracting DNA, and bath bombs. In addition, making bubble gum, square bubbles, chromatography prints, leak proof bags, elephant toothpaste, rubber eggs, balloons in a bottle, and turning milk into plastic are just a few samples of the fun that awaits! If you are repeating the course, rest assured we ALWAYS have NEW experiments in addition to some of your favorites!! Mrs.Shipman will be taking requests for the experiments you love.
