Class Description

Springtime Tales: A Reader's Theater Adventure Students will explore spring-themed stories by Hans Christian Andersen, such as The Ugly Duckling and Thumbelina. They will also explore Aesop’s fables, The Ant and the Grasshopper and The Lion and the Mouse. In this interactive class, students will practice reading fluency by acting out parts of the stories, while improving expression, pacing, and vocabulary. They will also enhance their performance with simple props and costumes to bring the characters to life. Through repetition and creative play, students will develop confidence in reading aloud while celebrating the beauty of spring through nature, animals, and transformation.
