Using Canva, a fun and easy-to-use digital design tool, students will create personalized projects like coloring books, custom calendars, planners, stickers, bookmarks, notebooks, vision boards and gifts for friends and family. With access to a printer, laminator, and book binder, students can bring their digital designs to life and take home as many creations as they can make in the time they have. This class is the perfect creative outlet, allowing students to design projects that truly reflect who they are while also gaining essential technology skills in an ever-changing world where these skills are more important than ever. Students in this course have made incredible creations like a cheese-themed 2025 calendar designed by a true cheese lover, a Pokemon coloring book filled with favorite characters and a pink glitter notebook with beautifully designed pages. And so much more! Whether fun, bold or totally unique, every project is a chance for students to express themselves in a meaningful way while learning skills they'll use for years to come.
