Class Description

In this engaging before-school program, students will explore the exciting world of collectibles—from Pokémon cards to sports cards and more. The class focuses on helping young collectors understand how to track the value of their favorite items, learn what makes certain cards rare or special, and develop smart, responsible collecting habits. Students will also take on fun, hands-on math projects connected to collecting—such as tracking price changes, comparing card values, organizing data, and using basic statistics to understand trends. These activities help strengthen real-world math skills in a way that’s exciting and relatable. In addition, students will learn practical techniques for properly storing, handling, and caring for their cards and collectibles to keep them in great condition. Whether students already have a collection or are just getting started, this class provides a fun and supportive environment to share interests and learn new skills.
