Literacy Night on Thursday, January 24th at 5:30 pm

This year, Rowayton will host a family literacy night for our families. The program is designed for families/students in grades K-3, but all families are welcome. This will be conducted by the Hill for Literacy, an organization that has been supporting Norwalk’s literacy efforts for the past several years.   Those who want to know more about the Hill for Literacy can get information at http://hillforliteracy.org/

Parents are an important part of our literacy initiative and we invite you and your children to partner with us at this informative evening, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and ending at 7:30 p.m., in our cafeteria.   Participants will have a brief introduction by Mrs. Janine Goss, the NPS Director of Humanities, followed by our main event, training in how to help children develop their vocabulary at home.  Dinner will also be provided.
